Mauritius Zip line Adventure
There are several zip lines suitable for adventure seekers in Mauritius.
CHAZAL ecotourisme
In the middle of the green hills of the south of Mauritius, there is a marvelous garden called CHAZAL. Here you will find the long zip line of 400 meters, followed by two shorter ones at 180 and 110 meters respectively. The zip line is managed by a company called Rodrig Adventure (commonly known as Tyrodrig). While you are riding the zip line you will get stunning views of the green valleys, along with the stunning ocean at Montagne Malgache.
In addition to zip-lines trekking, you can enjoy walks in the hunting reserve, walks along a suspension bridge (at Cascade Pistache), bungee jumping (at Cascade Pistache) and Via Ferrata (at Montagne Tonnerre).
Chamouny Zip line
Located somewhere in the Mauritian outback, in the middle of sugar cane and close to the woods, the zip line is suitable for even the kids (7 and 9) to master the thrilling zip lines from one side of the river to the other. Swimming below the cascade is also great, but don’t forget your insect repellent.
Ferney Valley
Ferney Valley consists of  7 zip lines of different lengths, heights, and speed. These zip lines were originally created for biologists who were trying to observe animal life without disturbing it and making it too obvious. Children from the age of 12 can enjoy these zip line rides.
Vallée des Couleurs
From the zip lines you will get to discover the beautiful scenery of the South Coast of Mauritius, including the entire nature park, its waterfalls and canyons from high above.
There are several zip lines of different length (500m, 1.5 km (single line), 1.6 km (7 lines) or 3.1 km) with professional guides to help you. You will also get a chance to view a fantastic land of 23 Coloured Earths, the canyon, and the forest from high above.
The park’s restaurant La Citronnelle offers a 3 course set lunch menu (Starter, Main Course, Side Dish, Dessert and a Drink).
Nepalese Bridge Zip line
You have a choice of 1 zip line or a combo of 3. The 3 zip lines feature a 240 m Zip-Line, a 300 m Zip-Line and a 260 m Zip-Line.
From these zip lines you will enjoy remarkable views of the entire canyon, landscapes, waterfalls and forest from high above.
Nepalese Bridge is wooden platforms suspended by solid ropes high above the lush tropical green forests. The zip lines will take you close to wildlife and nature as you cross the outstanding 220-metre long Nepalese Bridge. You can also take a free visit of the endemic forest surrounded by ebony trees aged over 300 years.
Casela Park
Casela is one of the most popular leisure and attraction parks in Mauritius. The park spans over 350 hectares and is divided into 5 zones, each with its own unique characteristic. The 5 zones are Thrill Mountain, Predator Kingdom, African Safari, Pangia Birds and Rides and World of Events.
Thrill Mountain combines all the mountain and rope activities for thrill-seekers. There is a a 40m platform from which you can jump into the canyon. On a Zipline you can zip across breath-taking scenic valleys. In the heart of Casela Nature Parks, The Thrill Mountain provides 7 attractions.
The Canyon Swing with a pendulum swing you jump into the heart of a 75-metre deep canyon. You hang on to a rope and slide up and down the valley. Racer Doub Doub package featuring two 80m Zip Lines side by side. You can race with a friend using this package. The Zig Zag Racer packs a combo of 4 Zip Lines for an extensive zip lining experience. The Risk Factor Bridge including the Nepalese Bridge and 3 Zip Lines or the Zip Splash Tour that consists of 4 Zip Lines including one landing in a river.
Mountain climbing package includes a via ferrata canyon tour that takes you through sugarcane fields, plateaus and uneven routes. High-standard safety gear as well as professional guides are available on the spot. This package takes 7 hours and costs 95 Euros per person.
You can get close to lions, cheetahs & caracals at Casela Park. A 45 minutes’ drive on rugged terrain will bring you closer to lions and other big cats and mountains. You can also take a tour in an e-bike or Segway.
On the Safari Quad Biking trip you will encounter deers, zebras, ostriches, African antelopes, wild boars and many more animals.

A visit of the park includes Safari bus ride, walk thru the aviary, giraffes and pygmy hippos viewing, camels and llamas viewing, kid’s playground, avalanche mines, monkey kingdom, petting farm and tortoise pen, Tulawaka Gold Coaster, and Discovery Centre.
La Vallee Des Couleurs Nature Park
The 23 coloured earth is a unique geological feature in this part of the world for both Mauritians and overseas visitors, which makes this an essential destination when visiting Mauritius. The park is more than 450 acres in extent.
The Nature Reserve consists of green valleys, plateaus, hills, lakes, waterfalls and rivers. Visit to the park enables you to explore the endemic and indigenous flora and fauna.
Many adventurous activities are available such as: Quad Biking, Ziplines, Nepalese Bridge, Luge Kart, Trekking and private trips. The most important among them is the 1.5 km Zipline, the longest zipline in Mauritius. Nepalese Bridge is a 350 meters long hanging bridge. You will have to cross it by foot. Walking on the bridge is safe as it is well maintained. Zipline adventure will enable you to enjoy remarkable views of the valleys, landscapes, forest and waterfalls from high above.
In this park you will also see animals, tree ferns, wild orchids and endemic flowers such as the Trochetia (Boucle d’oreille/Ear ring) and the Bouquet Banané (achna Mauriciana), which only blooms at the end of every year. The park is also home to tortoises, monkeys, stags, fish and also birds such as the Pink Pigeon, Paille en Queue, Cateau Vert with various endemic trees like the Ebony, Bois de Natte, Takamaka and other rare plants.
You will also be able to get a closer look at the unique 23 coloured earth and to reach the viewpoint at the mountain top where you will enjoy a captivating, breath-taking panoramic view of the entire South Coast.
Your trip to the park begins with the visit to the park’s exhibition room which provides an outline of the different places of interest which you will get to discover through the visit.The park is opened from 9 AM to 7 PM. The visit normally takes about 3-4 hours. A cafeteria and a restaurant are located within the park area.
